We can also connect authors to agents and the broader Christian booksellers and publisher markets. Under certain conditions we can assist in the above process through negotiation on behalf of the author, the best contract even with CityHarvest's own publishing department if the manuscript falls within its publishing criteria. - Author may, in some instances, receive financial upfront advance from the publisher.
- Author enjoys a contracted royalty and receives a special contracted purchase price of up to 60% off the book's recommended retail price.
Disadvantages- Author has no direct control in the prepress process.
- Author has no control over print run size or release date of the book. This can take upwards of 6-18 months after the manuscript has been submitted.
- Author receives a smaller sales margin on author buy-backs.
- Author has no say in timing of future print runs.
